New and Innovative Cab and Go Product
Cabline UK has launched a new and innovative "Cab & Go" product for Abellio Greater Anglia. Cabline UK has partnered with Abellio Greater Anglia to deliver a truly innovative product allowing rail passengers to book their cab journey via a smartphone app or through a web booking. The user creates an account, registering their payment details, they can then input the pick-up and destination addresses and the software generates the supplier price upfront. The user can then choose to place and pay for the booking, and the taxi supplier then automatically receives the booking through the sophisticated e-channel network built by our software partner T Dispatch. Cabline UK manages and oversees the Cab & Go work flow of each booking is seamless, providing full 24/7 operational support.
Cabline UK Business Director Steve Madge commented; "Cab & Go satisfies Abellio's desire to provide a true “end to end” journey for its passengers. The brief from Greater Anglia was quite challenging and it has been a real collaborative effort from all the key stakeholders on the project to make this happen. T Dispatch are one of our longstanding software partners and they played a really key part in delivering this industry leading solution. We are now really excited at the prospect of growing and expanding this service right across Abellio’s transport network.” Andrew Camp Abellio Greater Anglia’s Commercial Director commented; “The new service is a further step in making rail travel even more convenient for our customers. It will be a useful tool that will provide extra confidence for those travelling on business or visiting unfamiliar areas. Passengers can quickly and easily use the app from wherever they are to organise a cab to take them to or from the station with no hassle."
